Craft Paint Night
If you’re looking to add some creativity to your schedule, bring your friends with you to The Leonardo. Once a month, we host an exciting paint night where you can snack on small bites from the Salt Bistro, order your favorite drink, and paint!
Each class focuses on a different subject matter, and participants will follow along with a skilled art instructor as they show you how to craft your version of a famous painting. Then, take home your masterpiece for a long-lasting memory!
Craft Class Schedule
Each class includes supplies, instruction, and an unforgettable experience. Food and drinks may be purchased on-site at The Salt Bistro.
October 25 – Van Gogh’s Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette – $30
Celebrate spooky season with this spine-chilling paint-a-long in the style of Vincent Van Gogh! Come make your own 8×10 version of the famous Smoking Skeleton.
November 15 – Pablo Picasso’s Woman Turned Right – $30
Get creative with this head-turning paint-a-long inspired by Picasso! Guests will make their own 8×10 cubist masterpiece inspired by “Women Turned Right”.
December 13 – Salvador Dali’s Christmas Tree of Butterflies – $30
Set your heart aflutter with this holiday edition of CRAFT inspired by Salvador Dali. Guests will complete an 8×10 paint-a-long inspired by Dali’s Christmas Tree of Butterflies.
January 17 – David Hockney’s Pearl Blossom Highway – $35
Sharpen your scissors and break out your paintbrush for this tribute to some of the world’s best collage artists. Inspired by David Hockney’s Pearl Blossom Highway, guests will create one-of-a-kind 8×10 collages.
February 14 – Georges Seurat’s The Eiffel Tower – $35
Join us for a French infused evening of painting with this Valentine’s Day exploration of the art of pointillism. Wine, beer, soda and snacks will be available in the Salt Bistro for you to enjoy while you create a step-by-step 8×10 painting inspired by Georges Seurat’s The Eiffel Tower.
March 21 – Guest Artist Ann Vogel’s CRAFT Shells – $35
Washington artist (and Salt Lake native) Ann Vogel will lead this first time CRAFT class in the art of painting and decorating shells. Guests will take home a dozen shells adorned with paint, decoupage, and gold leaf. These gems make perfect gifts or table favors for your next beach-inspired party.
