Immersive Libations (2022)
Set your curiosity free in this evening class dedicated to flavors and the science of wine, guided by Sommelier Jim Santangelo from the Wine Academy of Utah. Guests will find their sense inspired by wines themed to fit the exhibition, before fully immersing themselves in the movement and color of The Leonardo’s latest exhibition, Art Through Experience. The wine tastings are complimented by an in-depth, scientific discussion on how and why the palate perceives each combination. This class is open to anyone over the age of 21.
Immersive Libations Schedule
Each ticket includes a themed, educational wine tasting presentation with three sample pours of wine, small samples of charcuterie, printed tasting notes and professional lecture before experiencing the related Immersion Exhibit.

Presented are a sparkling ‘Pet Nat’ to an ‘Orange’ (think rosé wine but from white grape varietals), and a natural unfiltered red wine.

All wines produced in a unique style within an industry rich with tradition, and have maintained the test of time in popularity.

Join Sommelier Jim Santangelo, owner of Wine Academy of Utah, as we pair and present wines celebrating the “Italian Renaissance” as we taste through Italy and present various wines that are anchored in tradition of Italian winemaking. We taste wines from the North to the South of Italy, featuring a northern Pinot Grigio Ramato, central Italy Classico Riserva, and southern Primitivo.
