The Leonardo is proud to announce that Mountain America Credit Union is the generous presenting sponsor of our 2025 Artist-in-Residence program. This vital support allows us to amplify the work of local creatives while fostering meaningful connections between art, culture, and community.
Presented in collaboration with Artes de México en Utah, the Artist-in-Residence program highlights the voices, traditions, and contemporary expressions of artists with roots in Mexican and Latin American heritage. Each month, we invite a local artist to bring their work and process into the museum, offering visitors a rare chance to engage with art as it’s being made. From live painting to interactive demonstrations, our residents transform the museum into a dynamic studio space—one where the lines between creator and audience blur in the most inspiring ways.
Thanks to Mountain America Credit Union’s commitment to creativity, diversity, and education, this year’s program will reach more visitors than ever before. Their sponsorship directly supports artist stipends, public programming, and hands-on workshops that spark curiosity and invite deeper dialogue.
At its heart, the Artist-in-Residence program is about community. It’s about creating access to art and culture, spotlighting underrepresented voices, and giving artists the tools and visibility they need to thrive. With the ongoing partnership of Mountain America Credit Union and Artes de México en Utah, we’re excited to expand the impact of this important initiative.
We invite you to visit The Leonardo, meet our featured artists, and see how art in action can inspire a more connected, creative world.
