CAN I APPLY MY ADMISSION TICKETS TO UPGRADE TO AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP?

Yes! During your same-day visit, you can apply museum admission towards an annual membership. Stop by the Admissions Desk with your receipt and we’ll help you calculate your savings.

HOW DO I GET MY NEW MEMBERSHIP CARDS?

As soon as you purchase your membership in museum, you’ll receive your temporary membership cards, one card for each adult named. Your permanent cards will be mailed 1-4 business days after purchase. Delivery may take up to 10 business days, but you can still visit the museum with a valid form of picture ID until they arrive.

WHO MAY VISIT ON MY MEMBERSHIP?

At least one named cardholder must present their membership card or photo ID upon entry. Names on the membership cannot be changed during your current membership term and memberships cannot be transferred.

Individual Membership include one named adult.
Dual Membership is intended for two named adults or one named adult and one child.
Family Membership is intended for two named adults and up to four of their children/grandchildren ages 17 and younger.
Family Plus Membership is intended for two named adults and up to six guests.
Insatiably Curious Membership is intended for two named adults, up to four of their children/grandchildren ages 17 and younger, and six guests. Additional guest passes (10) are included.
Friend of The Leonardo Membership is intended for two named adults, up to four of their children/grandchildren ages 17 and younger, and six guests. Additional guest passes (20) are included.
Da Vinci Visionary Membership is intended for two named adults, up to four of their children/grandchildren ages 17 and younger, and six guests. Additional guest passes (30) are included.

I WANT TO BRING A DIFFERENT GUEST EACH TIME I VISIT. HOW CAN I DO THAT?

The Family Plus Membership and higher (Insatiably Curious, Friend of The Leo, and da Vinci Visionary) include the benefit of up to six unnamed guests during each visit. If you are not a Member at either of these levels, then to bring unnamed guests, your guests can receive discounted admission as long as they are accompanied by the named cardholder of the membership.

HOW DO I GET MY DISCOUNTS ON MERCHANDISE, FOOD AND OTHER TICKETS?

Just show your membership cards at the point of purchase or sign in on our website if purchasing tickets online.

HOW DO I UPGRADE MY MEMBERSHIP?

You may upgrade at any time, but your expiration date remains the same and cannot be changed unless upgraded during the renewal period (two months before expiration). Simply pay the difference between your current level of Membership and the level to which you want to upgrade and your new benefits are immediate! Just stop by the Admissions Desk during your next visit or call us at 801-531-9800.

I AM GIVING A GIFT MEMBERSHIP. HOW DO MY FRIENDS/FAMILY GET THE GIFT I BOUGHT?

The gift recipient will receive a gift voucher notifying them of their new membership. The voucher must be redeemed at the Admissions Desk by the date listed in order to activate the membership and receive your temporary membership cards. Membership is valid for one year from date of activation.

MY CARD IS MISSING. CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?

The first replacement is free! There is a $5 fee for your replacement cards after the first replacement. New cards will arrive in the mail after 2-10 business days unless you request pick up from Will Call.

HOW LONG IS MY MEMBERSHIP VALID?

Your membership is valid for one year from purchase date. Expiration dates are listed at the bottom of your membership card.  If you renew before the month of your current expiration date, then your 12 months of membership will be added to your current expiration date.

AS A MEMBER, DO I RECEIVE FREE ADMISSION TO ALL SPECIAL EXHIBITS?

At this time The Leonardo is not hosting any traveling or special exhibits. However, as a Member you would receive either free or discounted admission to special exhibits based on the specific exhibit and/or level of Membership. Pricing details for each special exhibit will be available on our web page when available.

AS A MEMBER, DO I GET PREFERRED PARKING?

Unfortunately The Leonardo does not have our own parking lot. Please visit our website for more information regarding parking.

DO I RECEIVE A DISCOUNT ON ADMISSION TICKETS PURCHASED FOR GUESTS?

Yes! Member guests can visit the museum for $8.95. Members must accompany their guest during the visit. Make sure to show your membership card when you make your purchase to get the discount.

IS MY MEMBERSHIP RECIPROCAL WITH OTHER MUSEUMS?

YES! All Leonardo Memberships are reciprocal with the institutions that participate in the ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) Travel Passport Program. We strongly advise our Members to call their destination to ask about specific benefits and necessary credentials before traveling. Each museum reserves the right to enforce their reciprocity policies and decline free visitation if policies are not followed.

I JUST RENEWED MY MEMBERSHIP BUT AM GOING OUT OF TOWN. CAN I STILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF RECIPROCITY AT OTHER MUSEUMS?

YES! Just pick up your membership cards before you leave. Or, you may still take advantage of the reciprocity by having the reciprocal museum call us when you arrive, and we can confirm your status as a Member. We recommend you check with your destination museum to be sure they do not require that your cards be present.

I HAVE A MEMBERSHIP AT A DIFFERENT MUSEUM. CAN I GET IN FREE AT THE LEONARDO?

The Leonardo allows free admission to up to four members of museums participating in the ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) Travel Passport Program. Please note that local restrictions do apply. Visit astc.org/passport for more information.

IS MY MEMBER PASS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

Memberships are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. We advise consulting a tax specialist for more information.
