Have a special day to celebrate? Your child can explore the worlds of science, technology, and creativity at Salt Lake City’s newest museum – The Leonardo. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind museum experience, and have a special room to blow out the candles!
Celebrate @ The Leo offers a range of party options. Choose from among these packages:
Robotics- Has your child ever made their own robot before? At this party everyone will make robots that can draw, sweep the floor, or anything else you want them to do. Robotics have never been so fun — or easy!
Molecular Gastronomy- Explore the science that is taking the culinary world by storm. Everybody knows what a carrot tastes like, but what about carrot caviar? Investigate the science behind the food, learn a skill that only cutting-edge chefs have mastered, and have some fun trying new foods.
Drawing- Drawing is a great hobby that anyone can learn. At The Leo's drawing birthday party even the most unpracticed artist will gain a new level of appreciation, skill, and enjoyment. After some expert instruction, the kids can create a birthday comic book together.
Explorer- Receive "The Leo explorer notebooks," which contain a stop motion character the children can animate in our Render exhibit, a drawing lesson, a space to make your own birthday comic, a do-it-at-home experiment, and other fun interactive activities.
All birthday packages include:
Party invitations
Private room for an hour and a half (1 hour of museum activities and 30 minutes of social time)
Museum host to lead the fun and the educational activities
Full admission to the museum for all attendees
All materials included in the activities
Secure storage for all your items during your visit
You bring:
Birthday cake and candles*
Party supplies and decorations (we will assist with setup)

AVAILABLE TIMES:
Wednesday - Friday at 3:00pm
Saturday at 11:00am, 1:00pm, or 3:00pm
Sunday at 1:00pm or 3:00pm
Pricing: Parties of up to 15 children and 5 adults cost $225 for general public, $200 for Members. We recommend a ratio of 1 adult for every 3 children. Additional children/adults will be charged $8.
Reservations: We recommend making your reservations at least two weeks in advance for best availability. Full payment is required at the time of the reservation.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancellations made more than two weeks out will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 14 days or less from the date of the celebration will forfeit $75 of the original payment. The remaining refund will be mailed by check.
