BODY WORLDS is the most successfully touring exhibit ever, and Utah was no exception! The Leonardo hosted more than 290,000 visitors in the nearly four months that the exhibit was open on Library Square. The museum had more than 26,000 school children view the exhibit, and sponsored dozens of hands-on science and arts programs concurrent with BODY WORLDS 3.

Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS 3 & The Story of the Heart presents the form, function, complexity and beauty of the human body. Featuring a unique collection of more than 200 authentic human specimens including whole-body plastinates, organs and translucent body slices, this exhibit offered visitors profound insights into the human body, health and disease, and the intricate world of the cardiovascular system.
